WGMD Fishing Report 11-10-18

Saturday saw gale warnings up for the bay and ocean.  I checked out both bodies of water in the early afternoon and both were not happy.  There were even whitecaps on the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal.  Sunday will be a bit better, but still too rough for most boaters.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said a few folks fished the surf, but the only report they received was one small bluefish along with several skates on cut mullet.  Indian River Inlet did produce some keeper tog along with several shorts. 

At Lewes Harbour Marina I picked up the rules for their 2018 Striped Bass Tournament.  All entry fees are to be paid in cash at the shop.  The cost is $30 for the month or $5 for the day paid before going fishing.  The contest will run from November 23 to 4:00 PM December 23.  Prize money will be determined by the amount of entry money with 50% to first, 30% to second and 20% to third.
