WGMD Fishing Report 11-12-18

Monday saw weather as good as you are going to get in November so I decided to give Indian River Inlet a try.  I arrived around 9:00 AM and fished the incoming into the slack and the first of the outgoing.  My total catch was one small oyster cracker on a sand flea.  I saw several small tog caught, but did not see anything large enough to keep.  The best action was from the bridge to the beach on the northside.  I was on the west side of the bridge.  A few short rockfish were caught on small jigs during slack water.

Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Monday group on the Katydid finally had some decent weather and made good use of the day.  They brought in 115 sea bass plus a couple of tog and triggerfish.

Lauren at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em had four boats out for swordfish, but they had not returned in time for this report.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle they told us some short rockfish were caught from the beach at Faithful Steward on clams over the weekend.

The Fish Bound out of Ocean City had a boat limit of tog to 10 pounds and sheepshead to 13 pounds on Monday.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD Fishing Report.
