Monday saw good weather and a few boats were able to make the run to the sea bass grounds.

Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid came in with a boat limit of 150 sea bass plus seven tog.  John Kelleher and Butch Emmert caught white perch out of the Broadkill River including two citation fish weighing 1.68 and 1.35 pounds.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle they told us small tog have returned to the inlet with the very rare keeper caught on green crab and sand fleas.  Small rockfish have been taken during the day, but the ones that inhabited the lights at the Coast Guard Station at night have not returned.

The Sea Tiger with Captain Matt Baker went deep dropping in the canyon on Sunday and caught two swordfish to 167 pounds and one bigeye weighing 124 pounds.  Along on the trip were Kyle Falgowski, Chip Gaines and Billy Low.  Also on Sunday, the Captain Ike had an eight man limit of sea bass.
