WGMD Fishing Report 11-29-18

Thursday was yet another windy day and to the best of my knowledge no boats left their slips or trailers.  I did find out that a few boats do plan to sail on Friday, but I fear dirty water on the inshore grounds and along the beach could hamper fishing.  Locations such as the Del-Jersey-Land Reef and even Site 11 could be good for sea bass and tog.

On Wednesday I traveled across the mouth of Delaware Bay aboard the Cape May-Lewes Ferry.  The bay was very angry and tossed the ferry around at will.  The water was a dark gray and it will take a few tides to settle down.

I am happy to report that Bill Baker of Bill’s Sport Shop is back in business.  He has recovered from his fall and I am sure the rehab center will recover from his stay there.

Local angler Kurt Mitchell from Milford will once again complete in the FLW (Fishing League Worldwide) in 2019.  This will be his fourth season on the Pro-Circuit and he has already won more than $100,000 and had two top ten finishes.
