Monday was chilly with a brisk wind that made it feel even colder.  It looks like the next few day will be fishable so perhaps we will begin to get more successful reports.

The Morning Star out of Ocean City ran on Sunday and the patrons caught tog to 22 inches.  The bite was a bit slow, but most of the anglers found some fish.

Lewes Ice House Bait and Tackle recorded two white perch citations on Friday.  Chris Merio caught a 1.28 pounder and Robert Givins had one that tipped the scale at 1.16 pounds.  No location was given for the catch.

Lewes Harbour Marina will be open on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.  On Friday, Saturday and Sunday they will be open from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.  These hours will change in April when the shop will be open for their regular summer hours.

The first red drum of the season have been caught from the beach at Ocracoke Island.  Spring is a great time to visit the Outer Banks before the prices go up.
