Thursday was warm, but breezy with small craft advisories up through Friday.  The water temperature rose quite a bit with a reading of 50.7 at the Lightship Buoy and 54.9 in Lewes.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said a 32-inch rockfish was caught on cut bunker at Key Box Road on Thursday morning.  One or two anglers have been working the South Pocket at night with black or purple plugs and picking up a few keeper rockfish.  Early morning has seen short rock plus the rare keeper or two taken from the inlet on white bucktails and a while worm.

Lewes Harbour Marina saw a keeper flounder taken by Jon Siddons from the Lewes Town Dock on Gulp and squid.  No boats went out of Lewes on Thursday.

At Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em Lauren told us the No Limit had a limit of golden tilefish on a fun trip to the deep.  Otherwise no one has been out for a few days.

Freshwater fishermen will soon have better access to Millsboro Pond once the new boat ramp and parking lot are complete.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
