WGMD Fishing Report 4-29-19
Sunday was still a bit cool and windy so only a few boats ventured out. I hope to have their reports on Monday.
Dans Tackle Box recorded several nice fish caught from Broadkill Beach. New York John released a 35-inch black drum caught on a clam and kept a 12 pounder caught on a bloodworm fished for white perch on a #5 hook with eight-pound line. Zack and Jordan caught drum weighing 14 and 21 pounds on clams, Friday before the storm. Phil Spane had a 20-pound drum on a clam Saturday night. Rockfish have also come from Broadkill Beach. Frank Tier had a 33 pounder on Sunday Morning on a clam. James Swatski and his son had two keeper rock on Saturday night. Lamont Simmons caught a 30-inch rockfish on Friday using sand fleas. Bobby Zakrzewski caught two flounder from Roosevelt Inlet on Thursday.
At Lewes Harbour Marina, Amanda said Richard Thomas had a four-pound flounder out of the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal on Gulp! during outgoing water.
