WGMD Fishing Report 4-5-19

Thursday was a nice day, but still a bit breezy.  Rain is due on Friday and may carry into Saturday.  The good news is temperatures will remain on or near the 60-degree mark for the next ten days.

I could not find any reports from boats fishing the Delaware Bay or Atlantic Ocean.  Once we get the seas to settle down we should see some tog caught and perhaps the first flounder from Delaware waters.

Dan’s Bait and Tackle did have a report from Randy Bibrough who caught a nice red drum from the surf at Hatteras Island.  This was backed up by reports from Joe Moore and Hatteras Jack who also posted photos of customers with bull reds.

Lewes Ice House Bait and Tackle posted a photo of Mol Hill with a nice white perch she caught on her very first rod and reel purchased from said shop.  Other shops also reported on the good white perch fishing in the local tidal creeks and rivers.  Further north, the shoreline of the Delaware River from Augustine Beach to the Woodland Beach Pier saw white perch action.
