Saturday was a very nice day to go fishing, but unfortunately my computer decided to die on Friday afternoon so most of Saturday was spent trying to fix it and reeducate me. Many thanks to A-Del Computers and Walt Palmer from WGMD for their patience and knowledge that has gotten this lunkhead back on line.
As far as fishing goes, Captain Monty on the Morning Star out of Ocean City ran a tog trip and had some success. A few folks had limits to 20.5 inches while other at least caught enough for dinner. The Pappy’s Lady out of Fisherman’s Wharf in Lewes was supposed to run a tog trip on Saturday, but by late afternoon I could not find a report from the boat.
I did stop by Rick’s Bait and Tackle and called Lewes Harbour Marina, Old Inlet and Ice House Bait and Tackle. They all had the same report. Small rockfish in the tidal creeks and rivers along with white perch. If you can locate a concentration of perch you can catch all you want on bloodworms or grass shrimp.
