Ed Dargush of Selbyville, DE, Glenn Meyers of Holts Landing, DE and Bob Swanson of Frankford, DE caught this 103.4lb big eye tuna while fishing in the Baltimore Canyon using skirted ballyhoo.

The weather on Saturday was not good, but I do have reports from last week to share.

The Pirate King out of Angler’s Marina with Captains Jackie and Chip have been catching good numbers of kings plus small trout, blowfish and ling on the Shears using clam bait.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina told us on Friday that Greg Bowman caught a four-fish limit of flounder measuring between 17 and 21 inches fishing the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal from his kayak with white mullet and grub Gulp!.

Ryan Lewis of Roxana, DE caught this 5.4lb trout while fishing on the south side of Indian River Inlet. He caught this fish using a jighead with a Z-Man rubber bait.

Dave at Lighthouse View Bait and Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said anglers are leaving the pier with 30 to 40 eight-inch spot in their coolers.  Bloodworms or FishBite bloodworms have been the best bait.  Kings and croaker have also been taken from the pier on the same baits.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em checked in a 34.7-pound cobia for George Simons that he caught from the beach.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
