Wicomico Man Sentenced For 2016 Robberies


A Wicomico County man will spend the next 24 in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of robbery. 33-year-old Antwane Curtis Jones was given 52 years, with all but 24 suspended, and three years probations for his role in three robberies and a burglary over two weeks throughout Wicomico County. The first happened on April 17, when Jones broke into the Lucky Star in Fruitland and stole money. A few days later, he robbed the Wine Rack in Fruitland. On April 30, Jones went into the Education Supplies Store in Salisbury and robbed them. Finally, on May 4, he robbed the Post Office in Fruitland. He was arrested two days later.
