UPDATED – 5:20AM – A BRIEF WINTRY MIX IS POSSIBLE EARLY THIS MORNING…
Rain is expected for today. However, the precipitation may begin
as a very brief period of sleet or freezing rain in parts of eastern Maryland, central and southern Delaware, and far southern and southeastern New Jersey.
If you will be going out early this morning, be prepared for slippery spots on roads and walkways.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR DORCHESTER & WICOMICO COUNTIES UNTIL 9 AM EST THIS MORNING…
The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for freezing rain, which is in effect until 9 AM EST this morning.
* WHAT…A mixture of light rain, sleet and freezing rain this morning. A light glaze of ice is expected through the morning commute.
* WHERE…Dorchester and Wicomico Counties.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Any ice will result in slippery conditions on sidewalks, roads and bridges, including during the morning commute.
