WT Chipman MS Wrestling Coach Charged with Aggravated Menacing

A Frederica man was arrested Thursday by Harrington Police after a report of terroristic threatening earlier in the month.  Police were called to W-T Chipman Middle School and contacted a 13 year old male victim.  Police learned the wrestling coach, 36 year old James McNeil, got into an argument with the teen and pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim, slammed the victim against the wall and tried to choke him.  McNeil turned himself into Harrington Police – he is charged with aggravated menacing and other offenses.  At the time of his arrest, he was also employed as a Delaware Correctional Officer.  He is free on bond.
