What is an rss feed? Why when I click on the button do I receive only code? What is a podcast?

Podcast is simply a fancy way to receive information, news and audio links automatically to your computer. Don't be confused, when you click on the button, the xml file will display, but, here's what you need to do to get this to work.

When you see a feed button XML right click on the button and copy the shortcut, then you can enter the links into an RSS feed reader application that runs on your computer and downloads the headlines and links as new items are posted by WGMD.. There are many freeware and shareware readers available for most operating systems. For audio podcasts, you can either subscribe in your RSS reader, or simply subscribe in I-Tunes using the tools/advanced/subscribe to podcast feature.

Why is this helpful? This is too complicated!

The information found in WGMD Podcasts automatically download into your machine when subscribed to a podcast. You no longer have to go hunting for audio or news, why not let your computer do the work for you? If you find it too complicated, you can still manually download all the audio from the WGMD Audio To Go page and read our news online... or you can always just listen to the radio.
