1 Injured after Assault at Thirsty’s in Salisbury

Last Sunday evening, September 22, Salisbury Police were called to Thirsty’s for an assault involving baseball bats.  Police learned the victim was pumping gas when three men assaulted him.  With help from witnesses the suspects were identified as 48 year old Shawn Saunders and 50 year old Clarence Pruitt who were arrested.  The third suspect, 25 year old Vernon Brown was arrested Thursday.  All three are being held without bond.  Police ask anyone with information on the assault to contact them.  The 50 year old victim was treated and released at PRMC for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
