17-year-old, Adult Charged in Milford Gun Incident
Milford Police have arrested two individuals after an armed incident on NW 2nd Street. Officers say a 17-year-old pointed a gun at three people in a vehicle on October 17th and later brought two untraceable handguns onto school property at Milford High. He is facing multiple felony charges. Police also arrested 19-year-old Ivan Salez of Milford for aggravated menacing and conspiracy. The 17-year-old had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court 7 where he was committed to the Delaware Division of Youth Rehabilitative Services: Stevenson House Detention Center in default of $69,500 cash bond. A no contact order was issued between the juvenile and victims in this investigation including all schools and district offices of the Milford School District. The juvenile was ordered to appear in the Kent County Family Court this week for a bail review hearing. Salez had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court 2 where he was committed to the Department of Correction in default of $5000.00 cash bond. A no contact order was issued between him and the victims in this case. He was ordered to appear in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas for a preliminary hearing at a later date.
