2 Juveniles Arrested, Woman Sought For Magnolia Incident Involving Gunshots

Two juveniles have been arrested and a third suspect is being sought following an incident involving gunfire in Kent County.

According to Delaware State Police, a resident of Jogger Trail in Magnolia claimed a woman came up to her front door early Sunday and started an argument. Several other people were seen rushing toward the door, at which point the victim shut the door. She heard several gunshots and saw three vehicles flee the scene.

Two 17-year-old Dover males were arrested at a shopping center parking lot on the south side of Dover. State Police said they found two discarded guns and a small amount of marijuana.

The two juveniles were transported to Troop 3 where they were each charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited juvenile, reckless endangering 1st-and-2nd degree, conspiracy and criminal mischief. One juvenile posted $20,000 secured bond. The other was committed to Stevenson House Detention Center.

Both juveniles were each arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court #7 and issued a $20,000 secured bond. One juvenile posted bail and the other was committed to the Stevenson House Detention Center.

Still being sought is 29-year-old Jhazmond Landry of Wilmington.

The victim and four children were in the home when it was struck three times by gunshots, but they were not struck or injured.
