2026 Medicare Open Enrollment Window Open Until December 7

The 2026 Medicare Open Enrollment window began October 15 and continues until to December 7. During this window consumers can join, switch, or drop a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (Part D) or Medicare Advantage Plan.

The Delaware Department of Insurance and the Delaware Medicare Assistance Bureau helps residents determine if making a coverage change is the right choice, through their free unbiased free one-on-one counseling. In 2024, our Medicare Assistance saved Delawareans $2.2 million, which underscores the crucial need for unbiased, expert guidance during Medicare Open Enrollment.
