Several arrests have been made in connection with an illegal gambling ring that was operating in the Seaford area. The Division of Gaming Enforcement was tipped in August that people were gambling through a scheme that involved placing lottery wagers. A two-month investigating led to the arrest of four people at a Seaford residence on Wednesday. State Police, Gaming Enforcement and Homeland Security officials also seized betting slips and electronic devices as well as over $10,000 in gambling proceeds. The four suspects are charged with a variety of gambling offenses and conspiracy and are all free on unsecured bonds.
