Sussex County Council to Meet Tuesday in Georgetown

The Sussex County Council meets on Tuesday morning in Georgetown. The Council will hear from Assistant County Attorney, Vince Robertson about a proposed ordinance amendment in the County Code that deals with the establishment of annual service charges and the determination of the amount of the charge. This will be discussed and possibly introduced.

County Engineer, Hans Medlarz, has several items on the agenda including an update on the Airport Master Plan. There is one public hearing scheduled for the afternoon session. Change of Zone No. 1882 looking to change about 15 acres along Route 1 north of Lewes from AR-1 and C-2 medium commercial to HR-1 – a high-density residential district.

The County Council meets at 10am at the County Administration Offices on the Circle in Georgetown. The afternoon session begins at 1:30. The meeting is also streamed through the County’s website at sussexcountyde.gov
