UPDATED: Early Morning House Fire in Milford Under Investigation
UPDATED – 10:15am – Carlisle firefighters were called for a house fire around 4:20 this morning on South Walnut Street. Crews arriving at the scene found active fire inside the home. Multiple crews from Kent and Sussex County assisted and the State Fire Marshal is investigating to determine the cause and origin of the blaze. Heavy fire damage is estimated at $30,000 and 4 adults have been displaced and are being helped by the American Red Cross.

UPDATED – 7:30am – It was an early morning for firefighters in Milford who were called to a house fire on South Walnut Street just before 4:20. Firefighters from Carlisle Fire Company were assisted by multiple companies in Kent and Sussex County and were on the scene for about 3 hours. The State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
