Wednesday saw reasonably good weather after the rain quit, but once again, not many people were fishing.  Small craft advisories are up for Thursday with northwest winds of 15 to 20 with gusts to 30 knots.  Friday looks really good with northeast winds of five to ten and seas of less than two feet.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Strike Zone with Captain Chris and Mate AJ fished off of Slaughter Beach on Tuesday night and, after braving a pretty bad thunderstorm, they managed to catch Kevin Hine a 30 and Hunter Hine, Jr. a 50-pound black drum.  The only fish Amanda saw on Wednesday was a single tog.

Chris at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the larger rockfish have been caught at night on swimshads from the South Jetty.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle the report was continued good shad fishing with shad darts and small spoons doing most of the damage.
