IRVFC Respond to Pot Net Fire Saturday Night

Fire crews from Indian River were called for an odor investigation on Driftwood Drive just before 10:30 Saturday night.聽 The call was upgraded to a structure fire and Millsboro and Lewes Fire Companies were also alerted.聽 Firefighters believe a hot plate was left turned on and unattended which caused a small fire which self-extinguished because the door to the room was closed.聽 The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
