UPDATED: Milford Man Wanted for Attempted Murder Extradited to Delaware

UPDATED – 03/03/25 – A 37 year old Milford man wanted for attempted murder has been extradited back to Delaware from Philadelphia with the assistance of the Delaware Department of Justice. Derrick Legree has been formally charged in connection with a November 3, 2024 attempted murder investigation. He is charged with multiple offenses:
- Attempted Murder 1st Degree (Felony)聽
- Possession of a Deadly Weapon during the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
- Aggravated Menacing (Felony)
- Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited (Felony)
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child
Legree is now being held at SCI in default of a $622,000 cash bond and an additional $25,000 cash bond for an active violation of probation.

UPDATED – 11/26/24 – Milford Police report that 37 year old Derrick Legree, who is wanted for attempted murder and other offenses was taken into custody on Monday in Philadelphia by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force. Legree will be extradited back to Delaware where he will be formally charged in connection with a domestic-related stabbing that occurred on Sunday, November 3rd on Tull Way.

ORIGINAL STORY – 11/06/24 – Milford Police are asking the community’s assistance in locating a man who is wanted for a domestic-related stabbing that happened on Sunday evening November 3rd. Milford Police say that at about 9:49 p.m., they responded to Tull Way and rendered first aid to a female victim, until she was transported to an area hospital. She is listed in critical, but stable condition.聽 Police are looking for 37-year-old Derrick Legree. He is wanted for Attempted Murder and other felony charges.
