Mike Bradley hosts First Light Delmarva from 5–6 a.m. and joins Mike Bradley and the Talk of Delmarva Morning Team from 6–9 a.m., Monday through Friday. He also serves as WGMD’s sports director and works on station imaging.
About Mike
Originally from Baltimore, Mike has made the Eastern Shore his home since 2005. He spent summers at his family’s place in Ocean City and enjoys the beach, local history and sports. His teams include the Ravens, Orioles, Terrapins, Capitals, University of Michigan and Lakers.
Mike also works in sports radio for Audacy’s 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore, anchoring football and basketball pregame programs and contributing to the Maryland Sports Radio Network.
Sports and Community
Mike co-hosts a podcast and writes for Shore Sports MD, covering high-school sports across the Eastern Shore. He also hosts Overtime Live, Maryland’s only high-school football radio show, and contributes to Baltimore Sports and Life.
Broadcasting Background
A graduate of Loyola College in Baltimore with a degree in finance, Mike entered full-time radio in 2005 at Great Scott Broadcasting in Georgetown. His work there included on-air music programming, program direction and operations management. He later hosted afternoon-drive radio in Easton before joining WGMD in August 2012.
Mike brings an informative, entertaining and lighthearted approach to the air.

Brian Pettyjohn
Brian Pettyjohn represents Delaware’s 19th Senate District and serves as Senate Minority Whip. He was first elected to the Delaware Senate in 2012. Before joining the General Assembly, Pettyjohn served on Georgetown Town Council from 2008 to 2010 and as mayor of Georgetown from 2010 to 2012.
An information-technology consultant, Pettyjohn serves on committees addressing business, insurance, technology, public safety, transportation, energy, veterans affairs and legislative oversight. He joins Mike Bradley and the Morning Team each Wednesday to discuss Delaware government, legislation and issues affecting Sussex County.
Valerie Jones Giltner
Valerie Jones Giltner represents Delaware’s 37th Representative District. A retired critical-care nurse and health-care consultant from Georgetown, she entered the Delaware House after winning a special election in December 2023 and was elected to a full term in November 2024.
Jones Giltner serves on committees covering health and human development, education, housing, corrections, transportation, judiciary matters, revenue and government oversight.
She has also served on state groups addressing behavioral health, maternal and infant health, cancer and hospital quality. She joins Mike Bradley and Brian Pettyjohn each Wednesday for the Morning Team’s discussion of Delaware government and Sussex County issues.
Matt Lloyd
Matt Lloyd represents District 1 on the Sussex County Council. His district includes communities in western Sussex County, and his responsibilities include voting on county budgets, land-use matters, public safety programs, infrastructure and other county policies.
Lloyd also represents Sussex County on the Salisbury–Wicomico Metropolitan Planning Organization and serves on the Sussex County Airport Committee.
These assignments involve regional transportation planning and the operation and development of Delaware Coastal Airport.
During his appearances with Mike Bradley, Lloyd discusses decisions before the County Council and issues affecting residents, property owners, farmers and businesses throughout Sussex County.
Steve McCarron
Steve McCarron represents District 2 on the Sussex County Council. The five-member council is responsible for county legislation, budgeting, land-use decisions, public services and long-range planning for Delaware’s fastest-growing county.
McCarron also represents the council on the Sussex Conservation District Board.
The district works with farmers, property owners, local governments and environmental agencies on stormwater management, drainage, soil conservation and the protection of natural resources.
His interviews with Mike Bradley focus on County Council actions, growth, development, infrastructure and other matters affecting residents and businesses across Sussex County.
Rick Meehan
Rick Meehan has served as mayor of Ocean City, Maryland, since June 2006. He was first elected to the Ocean City Council in 1985 and served as council president for 14 years before becoming mayor.
A graduate of the University of Baltimore with a degree in business administration, Meehan moved permanently to Ocean City in 1971 after spending summers working at the beach.
He is active in several community organizations and serves on the town’s Tourism Commission, Transportation Committee, Police Commission and Pension Committee.
During his conversations with Mike Bradley, Mayor Meehan provides updates on Ocean City government, tourism, public safety, major events and issues affecting residents, businesses and visitors.
Julie Giordano
Julie Giordano became Wicomico County Executive in December 2022 and is the first woman elected to that position. A lifelong resident of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in public relations from Salisbury University.
Giordano worked in private-sector event planning and human resources before becoming an educator.
She taught English in Wicomico County public schools for more than a decade and later earned a master’s degree in educational leadership.
As county executive, Giordano oversees Wicomico County’s executive departments and administration. Her conversations with Mike Bradley cover county finances, education, public safety, economic development and services provided to Wicomico County residents.
Ted Elder
Theodore “Ted” Elder represents District 4 on the Worcester County Board of Commissioners and serves as president of the seven-member board. The commissioners establish county policy, approve the annual budget and oversee services including public safety, roads, recreation, environmental programs and education funding.
Elder has represented Worcester County through regional organizations, including the Tri-County Council for the Lower Eastern Shore.
His work on the commission has included attention to county finances, infrastructure, economic development, agriculture, vocational education and the needs of rural communities.
His interviews with Mike Bradley provide listeners with updates on Worcester County government and the decisions affecting residents, taxpayers and businesses throughout the county.
Joe Mitrecic
Joe Mitrecic has represented Worcester County’s District 7, which includes Ocean City, since December 2014. He served as president of the Worcester County Commissioners from 2019 through 2022 and previously served on the Ocean City Council, including a term as council president.
Mitrecic is a longtime Ocean City business owner and has served with civic, business and community organizations throughout the resort area.
His county assignments have included the Worcester County Board of Health, Local Emergency Planning Committee, Wicomico County Airport Commission and Tri-County Council for the Lower Eastern Shore.
During his appearances with Mike Bradley, Mitrecic discusses county government, Ocean City, tourism, development, transportation and regional issues affecting Worcester County.
Chip Bertino
Anthony W. “Chip” Bertino Jr. represents District 5, including Ocean Pines, on the Worcester County Board of Commissioners. First elected in 2014, he is serving his fourth term and served as president of the commissioners from 2022 through 2024.
Bertino serves on the Maryland Association of Counties Board of Directors and its Legislative Committee, where county officials review legislation considered by the Maryland General Assembly.
He also represents Worcester County on the Wor-Wic Community College Board of Trustees.
Bertino has worked in newspaper publishing for more than 30 years and is a past president of the Ocean Pines Chamber of Commerce. His conversations with Mike Bradley cover county government, legislation, education, budgeting and issues affecting northern Worcester County.
Joe Lundberg
Joe Lundberg is a senior meteorologist with AccuWeather and a longtime contributor to Mike Bradley and the Morning Team. He provides DELMARVA listeners with forecasts and analysis of hurricanes, coastal storms, winter weather, extreme temperatures and other conditions affecting the region.
Lundberg earned a bachelor’s degree in meteorology from Penn State University and joined AccuWeather in 1990. His work has included radio, television, online forecasting and field reporting during major storms. His Morning Team appearances focus on explaining changing forecasts and helping listeners understand how approaching weather may affect travel, coastal communities and daily activities across DELMARVA.
Scott Lenox
Scott Lenox is an Ocean City fishing reporter and host of Hooked on OC, a television program produced in Ocean City by Unscene Productions. Alongside co-host Kristen Lenox, he covers fishing from the Assateague surf and Ocean City Inlet to the coastal bays and offshore fishing grounds.
Through Fish in OC, Scott reports on current catches, fishing conditions, charter boats, tournaments and activity at the local marinas. His appearances with Mike Bradley give listeners an Ocean City fishing update and a preview of what anglers can expect along the Maryland coast.
Madelyne Motsko Wainglass and Sasha Motsko
Madelyne and Sasha Motsko are tournament directors with the White Marlin Open, the Motsko family’s internationally recognized deep-sea fishing tournament held annually in Ocean City, Maryland. The tournament attracts boats and anglers competing for prizes in white marlin, blue marlin, tuna, wahoo, dolphin and swordfish divisions.
During their appearances with Mike Bradley, the Motsko sisters provide updates on tournament registration, competition rules, fishing days, weigh-ins, spectator activities and results. Their interviews give listeners an inside look at one of Ocean City’s largest and most celebrated annual events.
