Bishopville Woman Arrested for Murder

A Bishopville woman has been arrested in the murder of a man in Bishopville. Maryland State Police were called to Shell Mill Road around 9:30 Monday night after a women reported that her boyfriend had been shot. Police were met by 61 year old Bonnie Hackendorn and located 57 year old David Shaulis of Bishopville unresponsive on the floor with a gunshot wound. The MSP Homicide Unit was called and search warrants obtained.
Police arrested Hackendorn who is charged with 1st and 2nd degree murder, 1st and 2nd degree assault and other offenses. The investigation is continuing.
Hackendorn is being held without bond at the Worcester County Detention Center.
