Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/19/25
As promised, small craft advisories were up again on Sunday. It looks like they will be up again on Monday and the rest of the week ain鈥檛 looking too good.
Patty at Captain Bones in Odessa said the big stripers have moved on, but there are plenty of white perch and catfish along the shoreline from Augustine Beach to the fishing pier at Woodland Beach. Bloodworms for the perch with cut bunker or stink baits for the catfish.
Ed O鈥橠onnell has been fishing the fly-fishing-only section of White Clay Creek and doing quite well. On his last trip he hooked six and landed five. Four browns and one rainbow. They were 12 to15 inches. He used the green weenie, Frenchie and the San Juan worm. He was the only one on the water at the time.
