Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/23/25

Thursday it pretty much rained all day and that was on top of a small craft advisory and a flood watch. My next-door neighbor is building this big wood boat and came over and asked if I knew what a cubit was.

Anyway, the only report I had on Thursday came from Old Inlet Bait and Tackle. They said a few blues were caught between the rain drops out of Indian River Inlet.

The holiday weekend is shaping up nicely. It looks good for inshore and surf fishing with a variety of species available.

Delaware Bay has black drum on the Coral Beds as well as along Broadkill Beach. There have been reports of kings at the Coral Beds on bloodworms. Small trout are also there, but should be released.

The surf is a turkey shoot. Kings, small blues, larger blues, big stripers, small stripers, spot, croakers, black drum with lots of dogs and skates.
