Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/26/25


Sunday the wind dropped out and the fishing picked up.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported that boats fishing Delaware Bay had black drum and boats that ran to ocean structure caught good numbers of black sea bass plus a few flounder.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us they saw spot and croaker caught on bloodworms and flounder caught by anglers who fished minnows close to the pilings.

Old Inlet said blues came through on incoming water and hit metal lures. At night stripers less than 28 inches were caught on drifted sand fleas.

Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m told us the Captain Bob had a good catch of sea bass. Other boats that fished ocean structure also caught sea bass plus a few flounder.

Rick鈥檚 Bait and Tackle said Indian River Bay produced some keeper flounder on minnows.
