Lewes Harbour Marina said a boat named Master fished Delaware Bay for a catch of croakers. Several private boats worked the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal with live minnows to catch some keeper flounder.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said Sunday was a slow fishing day. Just a few spot and croaker caught on bloodworms during high tide.
Old Inlet reported stripers caught at night on drifted sand fleas or eels. During incoming water, blues have been caught on metal lures. One boat fished the ocean and got 12 flounder, 20 seas bass and a butt kicking.
