Brandywine Valley SPCA Cares for Nearly Two Dozen Animals Rescued from Kent County Home

The Brandywine Valley SPCA (BVSPCA) is caring for nearly two dozen pets rescued from a home in Kent County last week. Delaware Animal Services Officers brought them to safety after they were found living in what were described as “horrible conditions.” The officers and animals endured filthy, unsanitary conditions and poor air quality during the hours-long rescue operation. Brandywine Valley SPCA CEO Adam Lamb says their team has been working around the clock since these cats and dogs came into their care last week, and they will continue to assess any further needs the animals have as they prepare for better lives ahead. In addition to the extensive care the animals are receiving, they will all be spayed or neutered and given time to prepare for adoption. For more information go to https://bvspca.org
