Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/13/25
Fishing was much better on Thursday.
Patty at Captain Bones recorded a first for Delaware as Jason Wise caught a 33.98-pound flathead catfish out of Lums Pond. There may be larger flatheads caught in the future, but Jason will always have the first.
Steve at Smith Bait told us keeper flounder have been caught on bucktails from the jetty at Bowers Beach. Bucktails and swimbaits have been employed to catch slot stripers from the structure at Ship John Light.
Dan at Dan Tackle was happy to say Broadkill Beach is providing spot, croaker, kings and small blues on bloodworms, FishBites, cut bait and Gulp!
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m said their boats did much better on Thursday. They had good numbers of sea bass plus a few flounder.
