Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/16/25

Sunday was not a fun day for fishermen. Both Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em reported that no boats left their docks.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said it was a slow day of fishing on the pier. Just a few spot, croaker and kings on bloodworms, FishBites and Gulp! Only small flounder on live minnows fished close to the pilings.

Scott Sharp caught a 3.4-pound flounder on a jig fished along the southside of Indian River Inlet and he had it cleaned at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em.

On Saturday Tom DiCampli caught a Delaware Citation 3.4-pound black sea bass and a 5.6-pound flounder at the Old Grounds on his boat the Patsea Ray.
