Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/18/25

Tuesday saw an improvement in the weather and some boats did fish the ocean.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the Captain Bob had sea bass on her half-day trip while the Judy V was able to put together a catch of flounder and sea bass on her all-day excursion. A private boat also had a good catch of flounder and sea bass while another private boat caught some yellowfin tuna.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said stripers were caught at night from the jetties on sand fleas and eels. During the day, sheepshead were taken on sand fleas and blues were caught during incoming water on metal and bucktails. The beach gave up spot and kings on bloodworms and FishBites. Breakwater Tackle said crabbing has been good on the fishing pier. Spot, croaker and kings have been caught on bloodworms and Fish Bites
