Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/19/25

Wednesday saw decent weather, but most stations reported slow fishing.

On Tuesday Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em told us that Tom Ostrye caught a 6.6-pound flounder on shiners while fishing aboard the Judy V with Captain Roger Meekins. It was netted by mate Hayden Thomas. They also reported that Captain Aaron Herd on the Gale Force carried seven-year-old Veronica Cilento to a 5.9-pound Delaware Junior Class Citation Flounder out of Indian River Bay on a minnow.

The Skipjack reported having lots of action on their ocean trips, but many of the flounder and sea bass are too small to keep. They do manage to put enough fish in the box so that the party has plenty for some good seafood dinners.
