Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/22/25
Saturday was the first time in modern history when the weather was decent on a weekend.
Lewes Harbour Marina told us Surface Tension came back from ocean structure with a boat limit of sea bass. No word on how far out he ran to catch that many keepers. He also brought back a cobia to get that season off to a good start.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park had the usual spot, croaker and kings on bloodworms, Gulp! and FishBites. Kayak anglers are getting keeper flounder by working the empty pilings at the end of the pier with minnows or Gulp! on bucktails.
Burt at Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m was very busy, but had time to tell me the Tips Up brought in five yellowfin tuna.
