Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/30/25

Silly me, I thought we were going to have a perfect weekend, but then the heavens opened up on Sunday just as folks were heading back to the dock.

According to Lewes Harbour Marina the Surface Tension was able to box their two-fish limit of bluefin tuna on Sunday. Other boats had sea bass and flounder from ocean structure.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said fishing was good on the pier until the late afternoon storm cleared everyone off. Spot, croaker and kings were caught on bloodworms and FishBites. A few keeper flounder were taken from around the pilings by anglers who worked live minnows or Gulp! on jig heads or bucktails. Crabbing was also good for those who baited their traps with chicken necks or fresh bunker.

I was unable to contact Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m or Old Inlet Bait and Tackle.
