The Caroline County Sheriff’s Office has conducted a thorough investigation into the drowning deaths of the two young children, which happened on June 29th. It has been determined that these tragedies were accidental. At about 7:30 p.m. on the 29th, deputies responded to Greensboro Road in Greensboro for the drowning report. When deputies arrived, they found a 2-year-old boy and a 3-year-old boy being provided medical treatment from the Caroline County Department of Emergency Services and the Greensboro Volunteer Fire Department. Both children were transported to Shore Regional Health in Easton, Maryland for further medical treatment. Despite all efforts, both children tragically died.

Caroline County, MD — On June 29, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., deputies from the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 12000 block of Greensboro Road in Greensboro, Maryland, for a report of a possible drowning.

Upon arrival, deputies located two pediatric victims, a 2-year-old male and a 3-year-old male, being provided medical treatment from the Caroline County Department of Emergency Services and the Greensboro Volunteer Fire Department. Both children were transported to Shore Regional Health in Easton, Maryland for further medical treatment. Despite all efforts, both children tragically succumbed to their injuries.
