Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/10/25

Wednesday saw seas of 2 to 4 feet on the ocean so once again, the bay became the place to fish.

Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Katydid tried to fish the ocean, but came back early. The Angler and the Pirate King fished bay structure and caught good numbers of croaker and kings. The Chaisin’ Tail also fished bay structure and caught croaker and trout.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said they saw croaker and spot caught along with short flounder.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em reported the Captain Bob and the Judy V both reported slow fishing over ocean structure. The yellowfin tuna action has slowed, but the tilefish remain active. Quick Draw Sportfishing had a good catch of blues and Spanish mackerel by trolling at Fenwick Shoal.
