Boat Fire in Taylor’s Island in Dorchester County

A boat fire that occurred just before 2 a.m. (July 17th) on Taylor’s Island Road in Taylor’s Island in Dorchester County is under investigation. According to the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal, the blaze occurred at the 35′ Concor, Cabin Cruiser Vessel. No injuries resulted from the fire. Damage is estimated at $75,000. Vessels that were located near the vessel where the fire originated sustained heat damage and consisted of a 35′ Trojan Cabin Cruiser, a 30′ Luhrs Alura Sport Fishing vessel, and a 36′ Catalina sailboat.
