Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/20/25

Saturday was a bit rough on the ocean, but several boats tried for sea bass and flounder with some success.

Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Sea Jay II had quite a mixed bag of sea bass, flounder, triggerfish, trout and sheepshead. The Bottom line had sea bass and ribbonfish. The Chasin’ Tail brought in sea bass. Surface Tension had Spanish mackerel and bluefish. The head boats Angler and Pirate King brought in croaker and kings.

John Marble caught a slot striper from the Dewey Beach surf on a mullet rig.

The Gale Force with Captain Aaron Herd had the Lyons crew out on Thursday and they caught a lot of flounder from Indian River Inlet keeping three to Logan’s 6.3 pounder. That morning the Gale Force had the Sullivan crew out for the same result; lots of flounder with three keepers.
