Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 08/11/25

The wind finally let up on Sunday and boats were able to fish the ocean and Delaware Bay without taking a beating.

Nick Garica and his grandpop fished Delaware Bay beginning at 7:30 a.m. and stayed close to shore just in case those boat problems reared their ugly heads. The drift was slow so the trolling motor was used. The result was four flounder between 19 and 22 inches out of over 15 flounder caught. And by the way, the boat performed flawlessly.

Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Jay Sea II brought in a limit of sea bass plus eight flounder. The Bottom Line had mahi plus some sea bass.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen said spot and croaker were caught on Sunday.
