Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 08/17/25

Saturday was yet another good weather day, but this will all come to an end beginning on Monday when the hurricane passes by and leaves us with high winds and big seas.

The leaderboard had not changed by 5:30 on Saturday. The Katydid was still in fourth and the Grizzly was still in fifth.

Lewes Harbour Marina told us that Mike Dixon caught a 23-pound dolphin on Saturday. The Katydid ran a charter on Saturday and brought back sea bass and flounder. The Bottom Line had dolphin. The Angler and the Pirate King fished in Delaware Bay and caught croaker and spot.

Old Inlet told us blues to 10 pounds were caught on metal lures during incoming water on Saturday. One man had a slot striper on an SP Minnow during Friday night.

This is Eric Burnley with your Talk of Delmarva fishing report.
