Two Teens Arrested in Dover Following Firearm Investigation / Search Warrant

Dover Police have arrested two teens– 18-year-old Angel Sanabria and a 15-year-old male– following a firearm investigation. Sanabria was taken into custody during a traffic stop near Presidents Drive and Bay Road, where he was found with a handgun despite being prohibited from possessing firearms. The investigation led to a search warrant at a Barrister Place residence. Officers recovered five firearms, including handguns and rifles. The 15-year-old, found with a duffel bag containing multiple weapons, was also taken into custody. During the search, a police officer sustained a non-suspect-related injury.聽 Sanabria was committed to SCI on $24,000 cash bail while the juvenile was committed to Stevenson House Detention Center on $36,000 bail. Charges include possession of firearms by prohibited persons and carrying concealed deadly weapons.
