LONG NECK: Long Neck Road – from Pot Nets Road to Massey’s Landing is closed

LEWES: East Savannah Road – from Angler’s Road to Massachusetts Ave is closed

MILTON: Front Street – between Cave Neck Rd & Walnut Street is closed

Rehoboth Beach – Red flags are still flying at the Beach Patrol station. People are being allowed in the water to about their knees and not past the breakers. The beach is packed.

Fenwick Island – Town officials say the beach and dunes held up will as Hurricane Erin passed offshore on Thursday. However there is flooding on the bayside streets, so be careful navigating those roads. Officials have opened the beaches to access, but swimming restrictions remain in place due to dangerous surf and rip currents.

Ocean City – City officials tell the Talk of Delmarva that there was moderate flooding primarily in streets in downtown and the inlet lot, which was closed Thursday night. Public Works has been cleaned the bulk of the sand out of the inlet lot and it is open. Bayside flooding has subsided as well. There was some damage to some of the wood platforms, steps and ramps that go from the boardwalk to the beach.

Bethany Beach – Bethany Beach Police say the beaches are open. No swimming is being allowed due to dangerous surf and rip currents and the potential for debris in the water.
