UPDATED: Dover Man Dead after Motorcycle Crash Near Greenwood Friday Morning

UPDATED – 08/31/25 – Delaware State Police have identified 39-year-old Isidro Cerda of Dover, Delaware, as the man who died in the fatal motorcycle crash on Friday morning in Greenwood.

ORIGINAL STORY – 08/29/25 – A motorcycle crash Friday morning just after 7 left a Dover man dead. Delaware State Police say a Kawasaki was westbound on Beach Highway near Greenwood at a high rate of speed and entered the eastbound lane to pass two vehicles traveling in the same direction. As the motorcycle operator re-entered the westbound lane, he lost control and began to skid. The Kawasaki left the roadway and struck a utility pole – ejecting the rider. The 39 year old motorcycle rider from Dover was pronounced dead at the scene.
