UPDATED: DSP Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Millsboro

UPDATED – 09/15/25 – Delaware State Police have identified 52-year-old Brian Irons, of York, Pennsylvania, as the man who died in the fatal motorcycle crash on Saturday evening in Millsboro.

ORIGINAL STORY – 09/14/25 – A Pennsylvania man is dead after a crash on Route 113 in Millsboro on Saturday evening. Delaware State Police say a 52 year old motorcycle operator from York, PA was northbound on Route 113 at a high rate of speed and failed to stop for a red light at Centerview Drive. A Malibu driven by a 21 year old Millsboro man had the green light and was moving straight through the intersection and collided with the motorcycle – causing the rider to be ejected.

The motorcycle operator was wearing a DOT-certified helmet – but was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Malibu was treated for minor injuries at an area hospital.
