Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/25/25
The weather wasn鈥檛 perfect on Wednesday, but boats went fishing anyway and were justly rewarded.
Lewes Harbour Marina reported that two boats ventured out to ocean structure. The Katydid returned with 16 flounder and 38 sea bass. The Surface Tension had 90 sea bass and that sounds like a boat limit.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said sheepshead were caught out of the rocks on sand fleas and crab. Flounder were taken from the same location on minnows and mullet. Small blues were caught on mullet from the beach.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us a lady angler hooked a big striper but broke it off when she tried to lift it up on the pier.
Hook 鈥檈m and Cook 鈥榚m said the Captain Bob had a boat limit of sea bass.
