Two Arrested on Drug Charges by Milford Police

After numerous complaints of drug dealing, Milford Police conducted proactive patrols in the area of West Street and Truitt Avenue last week. Officers spotted several subjects known to them who were acting suspiciously and when police tried to make contact – they ran from police. After a foot chase police arrested 18 year old Jared Whitemore and 19 year old Jayden Sykes, both of Milford. Whitemore is charged with the following offenses: 

• Manufacture/Deliver/Possession with intent to deliver a Controlled Substance (Felony) 
• Tampering with Physical Evidence- Evidence Suppression (Felony) 
• Resisting Arrest 
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 
• 3rd degree Criminal Trespass 

Whitemore was released on a $7750 unsecured bail.

Sykes is charged with

• Resisting Arrest
• 3rd degree Criminal Trespass

Sykes was released on a $1250 unsecured bail.
