Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/30/25
Monday was the beginning of a week of nasty weather. We are going from small craft advisories to gale warnings back to small craft advisories.
Lewes Harbour Marina said no boats left their docks and Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em did not answer the phone.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said a couple of keeper flounder were caught on Monday. Some sheepshead were taken on Sunday night.
Old Inlet reported that sheepshead and mostly small tog were caught from the inlet rocks. The beach saw 14 to 18-inch blues.
On Saturday Ted Garman caught a 24-inch red drum, a 7.83-pound sheepshead, a limit of tog to 18.5 inches, a 2.6-pound triggerfish and a keeper sea bass at the Outer Wall.
